Restorative dentistry

Tooth decay is one of the most common diseases. It affects almost 95% of the population. It is formed by the long-term action of bacteria (coating) on the tooth surface, which convert sugars from food into acids and disrupt the tooth surface (decalcify the enamel). Restorative dentistry comes when the patient has poor hygiene or lifestyle (lots of sweet foods, sweetened drinks, smoking, etc). Its main goal is to prevent caries or, if they have already occurred, to treat them and make sure that the teeth in the mouth stay as long as possible.

Initial examination and treatment plan

At our clinic, we offer you a comprehensive initial examination within the conservative dentistry, including a preventive examination of the oral cavity (teeth, mucous membranes) with focus on early diagnosis. The examination also includes a treatment plan. Subsequently, as soon as possible, you will be ordered for treatment according to the set treatment plan. The main task of restorative dentistry is to keep as many of their own teeth healthy and alive (without the need for endodontic treatment).
